Have you ever felt abandoned and alone? If you’ve ever been afraid or stranded in a scary situation, hoping for someone to rescue you, then you understand how a shipwrecked person feels floating in the water.

 

That’s probably how Daniel and many other Israelites felt when they were attacked, captured, and taken to a foreign land. They were taken away from everything they knew — they probably felt abandoned and afraid too! But God was with them and gave them strength to play important roles in His perfect plan! Daniel became a strong and brave advisor to the king, and Esther became a smart and courageous queen who saved her people.

 

So even when you feel shipwrecked, remember that God is right next to you, and He will help you get through it.
